- Internal page linking with anchor text – Internal links are links in your content that is connected to other pages or articles within your website. Using internal links makes your users explore your page, in return, it creates higher traffic on your site.
- Image ALT tags and filenames – The alt and title attributes of an image are commonly referred to as alt tag or alt text and title tag. They are actually attributes and not tags. By adding an alt text, you provide users of screen readers and search engines with a textual description of what’s on that image. Renaming the image files to the keywords can also contribute for a higher-ranking website.
- Make content easy to read – When writing content for your website, it’s important that your content is easy to read and understandable. It’s not just the crawlers who will “read” your content, but most importantly, humans too. So when outlining your content, make sure you break them into small paragraphs or maybe arrange them in a list-type.
- Meta Keywords – Meta Keywords are a specific type of meta tag that appear in the HTML code of a Web page and help tell search engines what the topic of the page is. These keywords appear “behind-the-scenes” and not visible to the users.
